You can use Junio TAP for contactless payments at any NFC-enabled card machine across India. Additionally, you can use the virtual card details provided in the Junio app for online purchases.


Is an NFC feature in the phone required to use Junio TAP?

No, the NFC feature in your phone is not required to use Junio TAP. Simply stick the TAP sticker on the back of your phone and tap it on the card machine to make payments effortlessly.

Where can I use my transit balance through Junio TAP (Sticker)?

You can use your transit balance at the following locations:

  • Delhi Metro

  • Mumbai Metro (Lines 1, 2A, and 7)

  • Nagpur Metro

  • Ahmedabad Metro

  • Chennai Metro

  • Kochi Metro

Is it mandatory to complete Min-KYC to avail of the Junio TAP?

Yes, you must complete at least Min-KYC on the Junio app to order your Junio TAP.

How to add money to the transit balance?

You can add money to your transit balance through Junio app or at designated terminals at metro stations, bus stations, or similar locations.

How to spend money via the transit balance?

Once you add money to the transit balance:

  • Tap the sticker on the entry gate of the metro station to begin your journey.

  • Tap the sticker again at the exit gate to complete your trip.

  • The AFC (Automatic Fare Collection) System will automatically calculate and deduct the fare from your transit balance.

What if my sticker is lost or stolen? How can I block it?

If your Junio TAP sticker is lost or stolen, follow these steps:

  1. Report the loss via the Help Section of the Junio app.

  2. Upon verification, Junio will block the sticker.

  3. Additionally, you can disable all payment methods from the Junio app under the Card Category Settings.

Note:

  • Any remaining transit balance on the sticker will still belong to the user.

  • Junio will not be responsible for any refunds in case of loss or theft.
