The National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) is an inter-operable transport card introduced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. It allows users to pay for transit journeys across metros and buses all over India. Additionally, it can be used for retail shopping and online transactions.

Yes, completing at least Min-KYC on the Junio app is required to order the NCMC Card.

 

How to spend money via the transit balance?

Once users add money to the transit balance, the card can be used for metro rides. At the entry gate of a metro station, tap the card on the designated device to begin the journey. After completing the trip, tap the card again at the exit gate. The AFC (Automatic Fare Collection) System will calculate the fare and deduct the amount from the offline wallet.

What is the minimum amount to Top up the NCMC Card?

There is no minimum amount set for the NCMC Card. You can Top up with any amount of your choice. The transit balance can be topped up to a maximum value of ₹2000 at any given point in time.

 

What if my card is stolen or lost? How can I block it?

If your card is lost or stolen:


 * Report the loss/theft to the Junio support team through the Help section of the app. Upon verification, Junio will block the card.

 

* Disable all payment methods from the Junio app under the ‘Card Category Settings’.
